My dreadlock service so far has been very expensive to say the least. Im not sure if the stylist knew what they were doing. They actually tried to put glue in my hair to mend a loc that was thinning thinking this would keep it from falling out. I know by now that it was not necessary. How am I to maintain the integrity of my locs & grow natural if I am using less than desirable products. Can you suggest some natural products for cleansing, moisturizing and conditioning my dreadlocks. ...................................................................................................................................................
If you cant say it, spell it or put it in your mouth then it obviously has no business on your skin, scalp or hair. Buying products for your hair should be a conscious decision-making process. For the concious consumer, an open mind is one thing but to go against what nature intends for you to ingest topically or orally suggest debilitating questionable saneness. Sage, Basil, Rosemary and Bergamot are esoteric healing herbs used in holy temples for centuries to ward off infections, incurable diseases and bad spirits. They are also used as essential oils, along with natural organic henna powder as an antiseptic in my products to help esteem the locking process. As you are growing out your dreads do remember it is not a contest. You are embarking upon a journey full of hindrances where one step forward can result in 10 steps backwards if you insist on putting taboo foods in your body or on your hair.
